Refund policy
In this Returns Policy, the terms "we", "us", and "our" refer to Oro Gold Gallery Pty Ltd, with ABN 78 672 754 175.
You are entitled to return items purchased from us for the following reasons:
- If the item is faulty, in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the fault, we may repair the item, offer a replacement, or provide a refund.
- For change of mind, subject to the eligibility criteria outlined below
How to Return Your Items
All items must be returned with original product tags attached and all accompanying paperwork (such as authenticity certificates).
Items Purchased
- Returning via post – please contact our Customer Care team at Hi@orogoldgallery.com.au to initiate a postal return. You will need to provide your order number and details.
Postal Returns
All shipping return charges must be pre-paid. You are responsible for any loss or damage to the item until it is received by us, thus we strongly recommend that returned items are insured during delivery to safeguard against loss.
Include a copy of your shipping confirmation email or order confirmation email in the package.
We will not refund any costs you incur in returning the item to us, including shipping or insurance, unless the item is faulty.
Assessing and Processing Returns
All returns undergo inspection by our team.
Any refunds, repairs, or replacements are subject to applicable Consumer Law and Oro Gold Gallery's General Terms and Conditions of Purchase.
Refunds will be processed using the same method as the original payment, except for cash payments, which may be refunded by cheque, direct credit, or to a debit card in the name of the purchaser.
Extended Returns
Items purchased between 24 October and 24 December can be returned up until 23 January the following year, subject to our usual terms of the 30-day Change of Mind policy.
Change of Mind Policy
Our Change of Mind Policy does not cover:
- Earrings
- Resized rings
- Engraved items
- Special, custom, or made-to-order items
If for any reason you change your mind about an eligible purchase, we will provide a refund, provided that:
- You return the item within 30 days of purchase (or delivery for online orders)
- The item is in 'As New Condition' and accompanied by:
- Proof of purchase
- Original packaging
- All related paperwork
'As New Condition' means that the item is in pristine condition with no damage, scratches, or signs of wear. The determination of an item's condition is at our sole discretion.
This policy complements, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
